My interest in palette, composition, design and lighting and my background in dance, material culture, photography and moving film help me to understand the value of atmosphere, art, texture, light and color—the essential elements that make up a space, a home, a room. I work as a stylist on certain of my photographic shoots for clients, and often on my shoots collaborating with other creatives. My home is a play-space, a stomping ground for interior shifts and twists, whimsy and artful living. The images here are taken in my own home, with generally vintage textiles, rugs and furniture paired with both found and contemporary art, curated plants, and homewares scavenged from strangers or commissioned from friends. The skill of styling a space, room, tabletop or object, is essential to creating evocative, narrative images.
